Our Story
Our story begins in late 2022, when we fell pregnant for the first time. We were both so excited to welcome our first child into the world and start growing our family. Tom can be very hard to read, but he swears he was over moon.
Unfortunately, Jen had a very rough pregnancy and was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum (basically a lot of vomiting). Keeping enough food and liquid down was a huge challenge, but she was incredibly diligent to make sure to eat only the approved foods, attend all the medical appointments and keep on top of medication and multi-vitamins.
When we got the news that we were having a little girl we were both so happy. It was only after we found that out when Tom finally shared that he was hoping for a girl all along. There's a really great photo of Jen right after we found out with tears in her eyes - though that was mostly because she was struggling to keep all the water down that she had to drink for the ultrasound.
